The scene is that not unlike what we saw Tiger Woods issue his public apology in over a month ago. In front of a gathering of twenty media members, including a few photographers in the back, out from behind a white curtain walks all three members of Insurgence. All dressed meticulously in suits, belts on their shoulders, and Myke Rhines in the front row they all look very serious. Matthews takes the podium first, with Ryan and Hale at his side.

Thank you all for coming today. Now, I know what this looks like and I promise that it's not a confession of rampant sexual addiction. Well, unless Rhines gets up here after the three of us are done. Regardless, we are here to talk about the biggest show of our lives Wrestlestock. The 27th will define our wrestling careers, and will be the largest stage we have ever competed on to date. Now, before I address you all I'd like to turn the podium over to my partners Marcus Ryan and Samuel Hale.
Matthews steps backwards away from the mic, as Ryan and Hale move into the podium.
MARCUS RYAN
Well, here we are. Those douchers in Death Sentence decided that they didn't like not being good enough to be on Wrestlestock, so they found a loophole and signed their rematch clause and will face us. Lemme tell you, this Death Sentence team is FAILED, FAILED! I mean what have they ever done?
Hale sighs and sharply elbows his partner in the solar plexus, causing him to double over at the waist and lose his breath. Hale steps to the mic still glaring at Ryan.
SAMUEL HALE
Right, that's enough of that just enlightening insight into this big match up. Now, as far as Death Sentence goes we hold these belts for a reason. We don't fear them, as we have no reason too. The last time Death Sentence was in the ring with us was when we pinned them for these tag titles after becoming the #1 contenders. We have their number, plain and simple. We are not worried, we are not concerned. At the Deathstar, we will show why we won these belts in the first place. We are THE tag team in SNW, and we are out to prove it come next week. We do not shy away from the spotlight, we like to think we flourish and over perform when the bright lights are on. Wrestlestock is the biggest stage of them all, and we can't afford a letdown. Thank you.
Hale goes off to check on his partner leaving Matthews by himself at the podium.

People have asked me over the past couple of weeks if I realize what I'm getting into. If I have a real and true grasp on what exactly I'm walking into when that cage door closes and those titles are raised high above the sky. The answer is yes, I'm more than aware. This is the type of match I was made for, the exact kind. It's balls out, give everything you got and leave no doubt. I love Last Man Standing matches, I retained against Jack Clinton at Natural Selection in one. That is my kind of match because it favors me. This match I'm walking into at Wrestlestock, it favors no man because it is sheer brutality. Neither I, nor my opponent will ever be able to perform the same after the closing bell ring and the match is over.
Speaking of my opponent, he's certainly been talkative. Now Chris, I know you're the reigning Bad Blood Champion, and that's great. But comparing the Bad Blood title to my Texas Championship is like saying the DIII football champ can stand and play against Alabama. Yes, they are both champions but Alabama is on a different level. I am on a different level than you. I am a higher class champion with higher class competition, and therefor more prepared to handle this absolute war of human anatomy. Sure you're taller, a bigger more physical human specimen. I've beaten bigger though, just like David hoisted his mighty slingshot or Jerry Jones hoisting his mighty snow shovel.
So Angel, when you are making your final preparations before your music plays and you walk out for the match I want you to think about something. This is the biggest match you have ever, and will ever participate in during your entire SNW career. This could be your only chance at greatness, your shining moment in the sun. Are you ready for it, can you possibly handle the bright lights and pressure of being THE man? I can, I've been doing it since this past summer. I've proven that I can and will carry this company on my back, even if these worthless excuses for fans won't appreciate what I've done. When Wrestlestock comes, I'll be ready. I'll be ready for the spotlight, I'll be ready to tackle the big time and chase the dragon of fame. If you aren't, then you will have no chance of dethroning me. I am the Warrior, and on the 27th I will show just exactly why. Thank you.
Matthews steps down from the podium and walks off stage to the sound of cameras clicking and pens scribbling.
