The Scene open up on a sandy beach, somewhere in America, Silvus slowly focuses into view stood staring out to the sea in front of him his coat flowing to the side in the wind revealing the muscles on his torso. His hair is following the motion of his coat as he looks to be relaxing, and then he takes in a slow deep meaningful breath.
Silvus: I call to myself in the quietest night, singing a song to bring delight, but nobody can here this sorrowful song, and instead they simply just flow along. I am back from an unscheduled leave of absence as I was called back to England for personal reasons and in my absence I’ve seen some changes, but only one constant seems to have stayed and that is Vincent Matthews as the current reigning champion. That man has more lives than can be probably counted on George Dunporks hand, but that doesn’t matter at the moment the fact that he is strong means he is definitely an opponent worth challenging.
But before I can look to the future I must face the opponent of the present a man who garners respect from his fans without having to resort to petty underhanded methods, to be truthfully honest I have never really looked at Levetation as an opponent I would want to battle, however looking at his recent success I know he isn’t a man for me to think so lightly of after all he won his match at No Holds Barred, and as to be expected he beat one person who was at least once a former Texas Tag champion in basically a tag match situation. This is something nobody can look down on considering the man he partnered up with and himself, had no real in ring experience working together.
But for them both to simply dominate the match was in itself impressive and so now he finds himself hitting a new obstacle in his own path to glory. This obstacle is indeed myself a man who has held the top belt in this company, a man who thrives on competition and challenges, and so I ask myself do I feel threatened by Levetation’s success? No, I don’t I feel excited, the adrenaline in my body slowly building up with anticipation for the challenge to come. Levetation, I know you’ve had a good career and I’m sure you’ve faced many different opponents before and chances are they’ve all used this age of cliché “You’ve never faced a man like me!” and I’m sure some of them told the truth at the time and some of them you’d probably faced their duplicate in your past. But I’m not your average man in this industry I don’t fight for glory, I fight only for 2 things in this industry, the first and most important thing is the fans, Those thousands and millions of people who support me and call for me in every match I enter.
Though my second reason for fighting isn’t gold, as anyone else in this company will say, holding that elusive gold is indeed a goal for everyone here but it is not my reason, my second and more personal reason for fighting every chance I get is simply because I love it, I enjoy the fight, I love the exchange of fists, the fight for dominance and the bloodshed that follows. All of this has been a part of me since my career in the underground cage fights of my past up to my UFC career and still to this present day. I am a man that will take everything you’ve got to throw at me, and I will take all of it and give it right back with some extra helpings of my own added on. I thrive off every win, every loss, I am a man that will take a fall and get right back up, I am Silvus and Levetation this week you will feel my Retribution first hand.
The scene slowly fades out of focus before fading to black.
