The scene fades into the basement of Matt and Katrina Margera. Katrina is in the ring with Matt sparring and training hard while Damien is in a corner of the room playing Mario on his new Wii. Katrina ducks a clothesline and locks her arms on the top rope to stop her momentum. Matt looks at her and smirks a bit.
MATT: Getting too old to keep up?
Katrina shoots him a glare.
KATRINA: Hardly. I need a water break. Cut me some slack. I've been sick so I need to stay hydrated right now.
Matt nodded and rolled out of the ring and grabbed Katrina a bottle of vitamin water. He slid back in and handed it to her.
MATT: True enough.
He grinned a bit and brushed a stray hair off Katrina's forehead.
MATT: You know I was only kidding right?
Katrina took a long drink of her water and nodded.
KATRINA: Yes, I know, but at the same time, I have to wonder if that's what the fans think.
MATT: Since when did you ever really care what the fans think?
Katrina nodded some.
KATRINA: I know. But this is a new year and I plan on changing things a bit. I think its time I bring back the hardcore side of myself. I think its time I go back to using my old persona. I think its time for Wench to make a return.
To me, it seems like since going to using my real name, I've become soft. Yeah, I became the SNW Von Erich Memorial Champion as myself, but...I don't have the edge I use to have. I want that title back around my waist, Matt and I think the only way to get it is to become ruthless again.
Matt nodded.
MATT: Well, you know I will support you in any choice you make.
Katrina smiled and closed her bottle of water and tossed it aside.
KATRINA: I was hoping you'd say that. Now, let's step this training up a notch or two.
Katrina charged without warning and took Matt off his feet and straddled him and placed a heated kiss on his lips.
KATRINA: Happy New Year.
The scene faded as the two shared another kiss.
