The Dark Ones are all sat round a large conference table at the head of the table sits, Goryokaku, to his right sits Wench and to his left Alexander Draven. Azrael the teams help for natural selection can not be seen anywhere. Goryokaku has a lot of papers strewn fourth in front of him and the camera manages to pick up the word Share on one of the documents, but not what the content is. Goryokaku coughs slightly as though he was clearing his throat and the camera quickly centers on him.
Goryokaku: Let’s begin this charade of words shall we, let the wit get out into the air before you all die of anticipation or something along those lines, after all we wouldn’t want anybody to think we are in anyway worried. Okay let’s begin with some questions, who’s first?
The camera pans round to a group of reporters and we realise this is actually a press conference going on and for the first time Goryokaku have allowed reporters into his buildings.
Reporter #1: The Sports Authority recently had their own press conference and they seemed to claim your recently chosen partner Azrael is a coward, what are your feelings on this?
Goryoaku: The Sports Authority say a lot of things, and most of it is just false courage to make themselves feel better when they know they are facing off with a team who don’t hold back a team who every time they have faced the Authority in whatever shape or form have won. We as a team have no worries of our opponents and as for Azrael, I don’t keep tabs on him and what he does is what he is, perhaps he is a coward or perhaps he had a message to give to the Authority but I wouldn’t know what goes through his mind nor would I want to find out. If the Authority is worried that they need to call a press conference as soon as they are out of hospital then I would be more concerned about what’s going on in their mind.
Reporter #2: Last week you and Wench defended your titles in what could only be called one hell of a brutal match, your main rival the Sports Nutz...
Wench: Our what?
Reporter #2: Main rivals.
Wench: I thought that was what you said, don’t get me wrong here and try not to misquote me the Sports Nutz may believe themselves to be some fantastic super team that just oozes talent from their little pinkies but as far as the Dark Ones are concerned they are still small fry, now you want to talk about our main rivals at least pick a team that put up a fight like Xtreme Team they showed us some real talent here in SNW, maybe enough to earn another shot in the distant.
Goryokaku: That is yet to be decided, perhaps they will show some improvement and then we will talk about giving them another shot. But then we have to take in to account new variables and possible opponents; however the future of the SNW Tag Team titles will be discussed at a later date after Natural Selection, Anymore Questions?
Reporter #1: It’s been coming to our attention hat SNW majority owner Vince Bischoff has been messing up a lot of calls on the card these past couple of weeks the biggest being the booking mistake for Silvus versus Hellspawn at Natural selection, what do you feel is happening here?
Goryokaku just smiles sadistically then cleans up the papers on the desk before clearing his throat once again.
Goryokaku: The situation of Vince Bischoff is a problem of SNW owners and with him owning the majority of the shares there actually isn’t much that could be done, however my opinions on the matter are private and personal and will not be shared with any of you.
Reporter #3: Last week Matt Margera assaulted a friend of his, then claimed that it was because the man was being a pest and leech, with the recent attack on a reporter by Gordon Heath we wondered what your opinion was on this?
Goryokaku: Why would I care about Matt Margeras ability to look after his friends he wanted to break ties with his past probably after all we know how much of a genius that man can be attacking a man who’s had no training in how to defend himself and then claiming Azrael’s assault on him was nothing more than a cowards act, I believe in this day and age sir, it’s called Hypocrisy and Matt Margera is the biggest hypocrite of them all. Perhaps he’ll grow some balls this week at Natural selection when he enters the ring with Azrael, or maybe he’ll decide to get in the ring with me after all we all know how much of a man he can be.
Reporter #4: Gordon Heath claimed that he allowed Azrael to stay on the roster because they wanted to deal with the problem personally and that if they couldn’t they could at least make his life a living hell what are your opinions on this matter?
Goryokaku: For one Gordon Heath couldn’t do anything about the situation as the contract was written when Hellspawn owned the majority shares, also with Vince Bischoff owning 51% of SNW it means that Gordon needs to get Vince’s permission to remove the man and unfortunately for Gordon any attempt to try to kick Azrael from the roster will be dealt with be Azrael himself, his own contract was signed by Vince and the contractual terms surprisingly enough give him creative control over his own career, I didn’t realise how much of a business man Azrael was until recently.
Reporter #5: Codi Shane made a pretty strong statement this week against Wench, she believed herself to be Wenches superior what are your opinions on this?
Goryokaku: Self inflated ego, from a woman who needed a distraction to get the jump on Wench, perhaps those so talented fighters should find some real matches to back up their statements, the day Codi Shane beats Wench in the center of the ring is the day i will be impressed. Untill that time comes to pass Codi is nothing more then a shameless wanna be who doesn’t know how much danger she is in. At Natural selection everything will make sense, and only the strongest will survive. This will be true of the Dark Ones and Sports Authority this Federation isn’t big enough for us to co-exist so it is time the Dark Ones put the Sport Nutz into their rightful place.
Alexander Draven: At the bottom of the pecking order.
Reporter #6: Another group seems to be shimming it’s way into this on going stable war, lead by Dredd, he had some pretty powerful words and claimed himself to be a real monster what are your thoughts on this man?
Goryokaku: Dredd, can sure speak for the best them and his motives and means seem to be that of a leader who see’s himself above those around him. Men like that should be congradulated on their own self delusional belief on what goes on in this place, I grant him his due pickig out Hellspawn was very smart but then Hellpsawn isn’t the one he should be scared of Hellspawn only leads here because he was the first of us bar Wench who came here. But he failed to look at me the man who plays a monster on a fiddle just as easily as I control the minds of those who think they are superior to what is. What was it he said yes we will be destroyed like the flow of lava just like pompeii yet I am the one who would dig a trench forcing the lava off course and dumping it’self harmlessly into the sea.
Reporter #7: Adrianna Samu had a lot to say this week claiming every dark wrestler and moody person to be nothing more then fakes, this being a more or less direct attack of your group how do you feel about this?
Goryokaku smiles broadly, his smile very sincere and his eyes only showing a glint of anger in them.
Goryokaku: The woman has no brains, she feels she knows every one on this roster just because she’s been around for a while, she seems to think that everyone who dresses in dark brooding colours must instantly be an emo and a person like that deserves no respect or even warrants a chance at a title. Let’s be honest she claims to be creative and different and inspiring yet her first words become an attack on anybody who dares even look emo or gothic. Is that somebody who’s creative? Is it somebody who knows how to be unique in life, no if she was unique she would of done her research on her opponents, and used her so called boundless wit to attack them in different areas.
Another Reporter is about to speak when Goryokaku raises his hand cutting him off.
Goryokaku: That is enough question for today, you will have to wait for another chance to question me and my motives as for now you can all go and find yourself a new victim to mangle the image of.
