As the scene opens Andrew Smith is shown sitting on a deck while a security light is on.
So here we are just days away from Guys Night Out. In the past few days I’ve been accused of ruining someone dream and been threatened. Another person has said they don’t blame me or themselves for actions they have taken. And who knows what the other person is going to say when he decides to speak up for himself.
You know each of these guys somehow stuck their nose where it didn’t belong and quickly made assumptions about me. And why? Because of who I am? Because of what I wear and what I say or do? Honestly who knows why. But you know what they say about assumptions don’t you?
I’ve said it a million times. The wrestling world as we knew it is long gone. It use to be that you could go out and wrestle in front of fans wordwide to get the respect from them. But nowadays you have to be somewhat hardcore. Let’s face it. A wrestling fan don’t want to watch a technical match. They want to see someone get busted open and torn apart. Hardcore is over-rated. Hardcore became over-rated after ECW folded. Everyone thought they had to prove themselves to be hardcore after it.
As I’ve told Emo Kid I am not a hardcore icon. And what happens? Andy Lionheart decides to throw that into my face and tell me there is no way I can survive the seven stages of Hell. That may have been a miscalculation on our part.
Andrew leans in and looks at the camera.
Seven stages of hell isn’t just about damaging your opponent and getting the honor of being labeled something you may not be. It’s a chance to go on to bigger and better things. And when a title shot is included in those plans I find myself doing whatever it takes to get that opportunity. In the past I have sacrificed my own tears, sweat, and even blood to come close to being a champion. After the last time, I thought it would be the last. So while the others look to destroy each other for a mere label anybody can have I look towards a gold belt.
They say that the ones you least expect to be something come out surprising you. So yeah I could be the weakest link in the road to Hell or I could be the surprise MVP of it. You never really know what lies under a man until he’s provoked or looking to prove himself. What do I have left to lose?
Emo, Andy, and Dreadlock let’s see who exactly is the weakest link claiming to be tough as the get. Let’s exactly see who will come out the victor and get the spoils. Let’s see what happens at Guy’s Night out when the fans and locker room brings the weapons. Cookie sheets, branding irons, and maybe even a kitchen sink. Let’s exactly see who can unleash all the fury in the world and walk out with the first impressive victory. Let’s see exactly if Andrew Smith can be another label to society that he doesn’t want or be one step closer to getting something he has ALWAYS worked hard for in the business.
Who knows. You just might be impressed. That is, if you aren’t passed out from blood loss.
Andrew looks into the camera as the scene ends.
