Wench pulled up outside of Hellspawn's house. She sighed as she turned the engine off and just sat there. She rested her head on the steering wheel as the tears she'd held back for the drive started to fall. Tears of anger, hurt and betrayal rolled down her cheeks as she trembled.
The door of the house opened and Hellspawn stepped out on the porch. He tilted his head as he watched a moment and noticed she wasn't getting out. He walked over to her truck driver's side door and opened it.
Hellspawn: Kat?
Wench looked at him.
Hellspawn: What the hell happened?
He pulled her from the truck and led her inside. He sat down with her on the sofa. He picked up the glass he was drinking from and offered it to her as he wiped a tear from her cheek.
Hellspawn: Kat...tell me. What happened?
Wench: He...he had that girl...Codi Shane....there. He tried to get me out without me seeing her...
Hellspawn: And what happened after that?
Wench: I lost it and kicked her ass...
Hellspawn chuckled a bit before getting serious.
Hellspawn: Kat...win or lose at War Games, you have a place here with me. You know in your heart this is where you belong. What happened earlier, that should only confirm it.
Wench sighed a bit.
Wench: But...
Before she could say anything more, Hellspawn leaned in and kissed her possessively and passionately. He broke the kiss and she stared up at him.
Hellspawn: No buts. Just give in to it Kat. Give in to the darkness once more.
Hellspawn leaned over and whispered into her ear and caught her as she fell limp in his arms. He picked her up and carried her upstairs to their old bedroom as the scene faded.
The scene faded back in sometime later as Hellspawn sat talking with Gory, Tanya, and Dark Sun in his living room.
Gory: How is she?
Hellspawn: She's fine. She's resting now. When she wakes, she'll be back with us completely. Don't mention anything about Matt. I've blocked the memory.
Gory: Excellent. With my training, she and I will have no problems winning the tag titles earlier before the war games match.
Dark Sun: Well, one good thing came out of her going to Matt's. She learned the truth about him and...well make that two...she knows where her heart truly lies.
Hellspawn: Yes, its the main reason I went ahead and moved forward with the plan. I wanted to be sure it was what she truly wanted. Once I discovered it was, there was no question. I had to make her fully mine again.
Gory: The Dark Ones will shine at War Games. We will dominate.
Tanya wrapped her arms around Gory as he pulled her into his lap. Wench walking down the stairs got their attention. Hellspawn stood and beckoned her to him. The two sat down.
Gory: So, Wench, are you ready for our tag match? You got to be on top of your game and I think you are just about there.
Wench looked to Gory and nodded.
Wench: You know it. We are going to walk out as tag team champions. At least I can count on you not to go getting attacked and taken out before our match.
Stank and Devil Dog will be no match for us. Yes, they have worked together much before but we know each other's moves backwards and forwards and I am more than confident we will walk out of Summer Bash as champions.
Wench paused and looked around the room.
Wench: Which brings me to the War Games match. How can we not win that one? We have our team which has worked together for well over a year only taking a short break versus a team that seems to have been thrown together.
You have Emo Kid. He's a mere rookie. While he does have the heart it takes to succeed in this business, he's in need of a mentor to fine tune his skills. He's the weak link in that group.
You have Enigmah. Now, I love your dear cousin like a sister, but she's on the wrong side of this war and if I have to take her out, I'll do it.
There's SIlvus. He's the one that will be the most trouble for us. But you two should know him better than anyone. So, while he will be the biggest threat in this match, I don't see him being one we can't over come.
And finally, there's Matt...I...I don't know how I feel about that situation. I mean, a part of me still loves him, but...I don't know...
Hellspawn: Wench...Kat,Hellspawn gently grasped her chin and turned her to face him. He lightly traced his finger along her jawbone. I think your eyes will be opened during the match and you'll realize who it is that loves you more than life itself. You'll see its here you belong, with me, and with your family.
Gory: He's right, Wench. You, Hellspawn and Damien, while not blood related, are part of my family. As you have seen in the past, I fight for my family and I won't stop until my family has reconciled. Think about it. Think about the past and how good things once were and how good they will once again be.
Wench glanced over at Gory and nodded slightly, thought there was a look of confusion in her eyes.
Damien: Mommy, Mommy, Mommy.
Wench couldn't help but smile as Damien ran up and climbed up on her lap. He hugged her neck and smiled to her.
Damien: Hi Mommy!
Wench: Hi baby.
Wench hugged him back and Hellspawn leaned over and whispered to him. She looked up at him and nodded as the scene faded out.
