The scene fades in outside the house of Matt Margera and Wench. Wench pulls up the drive and parks in front of the house. She looks at the house a moment and sighs a bit before shutting off the engine of her black Dodge RAM truck. She gets out and looks around before walking to the front door. She sticks her key in the lock, turns it and steps inside.
The house is quiet. She looks around and steps through the foyer. She glances in the living room before ascending the stairs to the second floor. She walks into Damien's bedroom and pulls a suit case out from under the bed. She packs him several changes of clothes before closing the suit case. She leaves it sitting on his bed and exits the room and walks down the hallway and enters another.
She looks around the bedroom and sighed. She pulled a suitcase out from under the queen sized bed. She opened it and walked to the dresser. She paused and picked up a picture of her and Matt. She ran her fingers across the picture and a tear rolled down her cheek.
Matt: Kat, it wasn't me. I swear to you.
Wench looked up and towards the door and saw Matt standing there, watching her. She sat the picture back on the dresser.
Wench: Matt...it was your voice. How could it not be you?
Matt entered the room and walked over to Wench. He reached out for her and she backed away from him. Matt sighed in frustration.
Matt: I've been asking myself that question since I heard it. Kat, I can't explain how its my voice other than it being a fake. You know how Hellspawn can be. You know when he wants something he does whatever her can regardless of how underhanded it may be.
Wench watched him and sighed. She moved to a chair and sat down. Matt moved and sat on the edge of the bed facing her.
Matt: Kat...I was out of my mind with anger when I came home and heard that tape. That anger turned to worry when you weren't here and I couldn't find you. You wouldn't answer your cell or return my calls.
Wench just looked at him and didn't say anything. Matt ran a hand through his hair.
Matt: Damn it, Kat. Talk to me.
Wench looked up at him searching his eyes to see if he was telling her the truth.
Wench: Matt...I don't know what to say. I don't know who to believe.
Matt moved kneeling in front of her. He took her hands in his and looked up at her.
Matt: Kat, have I ever given you reason to doubt me? Have I ever lied to you or deceived you in any way?
Wench looked to him and shook her head. Matt stood and pulled Wench to a standing position. He cupped her chin and tilted her head to where she was looking up at him.
Matt: Then trust me now.
Wench stared up at him. He could tell she was debating with herself. He leaned in and kissed her softly.
Matt: Trust me, Kat...Just trust me. Please.
Wench looked at him a moment and nodded.
Wench: Okay, Matt...but if you're trying to screw me over, I swear...
Matt silenced her with another kiss as the scene faded out.
