We begin with a river flowing and the trees not showing much of a breeze blowing. On the bank of the river, Reaper is walking along admiring the scenery and trying to enjoy his off time. He wipes some sweat from his head and looks up to the sky and inhales heavily. He sees the camera so he motions for it to follow him along.
Its amazing how the heat can just creep up on you out of nowhere. One week its nice and breezy and somewhat cool and the next its like stepping into a furnace. Kind of the same way with SNW lately. One week you get a nice easy match against nobody's and the next week, you get a proven champion in the industry. But it doesn't matter how the good ole SNW wants to turn up the heat, the outcome will be the same. I will stand victorious hearing the people chanting my name. You know why? Its because my opponent, well he seems to have gone soft. James Jackson, you have done so much in this industry, you've held titles all over the place... there may have been some issue with some of those, but the facts still remain that you held those titles. When you came here to SNW, you went out of your way to win a belt that was tailor made to be the opposite of everything you believed in. Didn't stop you from taking that belt and running with it though. You see, you were driven then. You had a goal and you strived to achieve it... but look at you now. You lost to a noobie... and there wasn't even a question about it. You got your ass handed to you. Why, James? What happened to that drive I was talking about? Seems like you grew stagnant and didn't think you needed to prove anything. You'd think a person with your experience would have known better than that. Tough break kid, because this week isn't exactly what I'd call your bounce back week.
No, you see James, I've always had your number. Circumstances may have let you see things differently but now theres nothing stopping me from taking you out like you've know I always could. But don't think that means that I'm taking you lightly, because quite frankly, even on your worse day you're still leaps and bounds better than a good portion of that locker room. And if anybody in the locker wants to debate that fact, please feel free to bring your displeasure to my attention and I'll be sure to answer any of your questions with a swift kick to your head. Anybody who denies that James Jackson is one of the top contenders in wrestling today. That being said, hes no Soul Reaper. And deep down, he knows that... hell he went out of his way to compliment me at any opprotunity he could find. But why? James, thats not like you at all, you used to go out of your way to downplay any of my accolades, no matter what. Thats more your style, not this compliment bullshit. And quite frankly, James, I don't like it. Its a little soft... but hey whatever does it for ya man. I'll give you credit, but I'm not going to do more than that. Where you are good, I'm better. Where you're tough, I'm tougher and where you're skilled... I'm a master.
And that makes me wonder, James, are you really prepared for a match against me or are you too focused on your War Games match at Summer Bash? Thinking a little too far ahead to your wants to be top champion again will only get you a heart breaking and a face breaking defeat. Knowing that I'm a world class athlete, and still thinking about your War Games match isn't necessarily uncharacteristic of you, but you'd think you'd choose who to try and overlook a little bit better. I don't care what kind of things you have on the line for that match, because if you're not careful, you won't make it there. Look at me, me and my cousin Cyanide have go through a match that could be argued as being just as physically demanding as yours at Summer Bash, but I'm not even worried. I could care less about that for right now, because it has no bearing on anything until the week of Summer Bash. I mean, sure I could look forward to it and worry about the fact that theres multiple teams gunning for our tag titles, I could even look ahead and fear a possible injury that could occur, but why? On the one hand theres looking forward to a possible defeat and injury.. and on the other I could be looking forward to a huge triumph and having people cheer for us. Then again, I might still lose and build up my hopes for nothing. No point in looking ahead, because even wrestlers as good as us can't set the futre in stone. Thats why I only think about the here and now... that means I'm focused on you James.
You want to use me to prove to the world that you're championship material... but we already know that most people see you as just that. Still just makes you a mortal, hell that new guy showed us that by taking your Bad Blood belt away. If I were you, I wouldn't make a mistake of trying to use me for anything, James. No, instead you may want to focus your time on training for me... or praying that I don't absolutely break you and put you in the hospital. The thing about it is, whatever it is you're hoping for, is not my problem. The only problem I have is that you will be standing across the ring from me and all that means is that we're going to war. Me.. I'm a born fighter. War to me, is home, nothing feels more secure than being in that ring going toe to toe with my opponents. Its soothing in a way, James...it centers me.
So there it is, James, you want to try and use me as a message sender that you're in line for the title and I'm here to rip your face off of your body. Its going to be a collision the likes of which these people have never seen. Two of the best wrestlers in the game today meeting again after a few years... almost feels like theres something missing though doesn't it. So I'll tell ya what James, you go ahead and try to secure that Texas title, but know this and don't you ever forget, I will have a crack at it and thats the last thing you'll want, James. Because should that ever happen, this weekend at Guy's Night Out, I'll give you a little bit of a preview of whats going to happen. The only difference is that at Guy's Night Out, the only thing on the line is your pride. For now, though, that will have to do... suits me just fine, I've fought for less. I hope you're prepared for war, James, because the bombs are about to drop on you and you're time is almost up... I'll see you in the ring James, hey... just like the old days right? Good Luck, kid... see ya soon.
With that, Reaper turns away from the camera and continues walking down the river and slowly the shot fades to black
