The scene opens in the apartment building in which Versus Vince and Valerie Snyder stay. The camera is aimed inside their apartment, focusing on the two sitting on the couch.
"If I had ever told you I wanted something, it didn't match up to this. I promise."
"So, everything else is obsolete at this point?"
"Not necessarily. I just have my priorities all focused on the match right now."
"I'll be there to cheer you on."
"That's exactly my advantage. You see, Chris Angel, Jack Clinton, Danny Palis, none of them have a beautiful girlfriend to escort them to the match, like I do. I'm not saying you're going to cheat to help me win, I'm just saying that when it comes down to it, I've got the advantage."
"I'm only there for moral support, you gotta do the rest."
"You know I always deliver, baby. I told Chris Angel like it is, and he couldn't handle it. The backstabbing dick punched me in the face. Can you believe that? I sure as hell can't. Now, I'm a nice guy, probably one of the nicest in the company, but I know decieving when I see it. Sure, he could've been punching Palis, but there is no reason that a fighting champion wouldn't have hit one of his challengers before the battle. That's what sets me apart from every one of the other guys on the roster. I'm too nice. I'm so nice, that after I beat Angel for the title, I'm going to shake his hand. I'm going to let him hold his title belt one last time, before it is around my waist, before it is on my shoulder, before I have claimed the Texas Heavyweight Championship.
It wont be an easy thing to do, but it will be my responsibility, to prove to all the wrestlers, all the fans, that anything is possible. Its possible for a rookie like me to capture a title like that one. I have to prove to everyone that nice guys don't always finish last. I have to prove to every single waking soul that all it takes is hard work, determination, and skill, to get the job done and live your dream. Come the end of Summer Bash, I will have lived my dream and then some. The Texas Heavyweight Championship is within my grasp at this point, all I have to do is reach for it.
Danny Palis is certainly an unreasonable character. I don't know too much about the guy, but based on what Jack Clinton said, he couldn't even beat Mike LaFontaine. I mean, I beat Mike LaFontaine, and that was just the start of an amazing career for a little boy, who became a young man, all in the same year. I went from there, and I beat Tyler Guevara. That guy isn't the hardest to beat, but he sure has his priorties in the right place. Then, I brought in the greatest duo since Ebony and Ivory, the Switch Stallions. They've had my back, through thick and thin from the start. As time went by, more and more people got involved. Lucky Kage is in the Versus Violation now. Valerie escorts us to the ring now. Matt Margera, Wench, and Andy Lionheart suffered a pretty bad beating in our little rivalry. James Jackson lost some Bad Blood to SNW's resident Italian. Now, all will come to a close for Versus Vince. Things have been seeming to slip away from me as of late, but at this point in time, its my spotlight. Its my turn to show what I have to offer. Whatever obsticle, I have to keep my head held high, my girl in arm, and my talent on the table.
Chris Angel, whether you meant that cheap shot or not, I know what has to happen. You can't be friends with a war raging. No, not the War Games, instead, there is a bigger war existing. The war for the Texas Heavyweight Championship. The war involving one champion, and currently, three hungry challengers who finally get what they came for. I get knocked down, and I get up again. Its simple math. Your odds of losing your championship, Chris, are so much higher. Yeah, sure, its not just a Fatal 4-Way match. Its an Elimination Match. We head into the Moody Coliseum, all four hoping for the best, but everyone knows that you wont be the one to retain. I admire the fact that you were able to beat Vincent Matthews to get the Championship in the first place, but at this point, your reign is over.
But, then I think for a second. Remember WrestleStock II? When Jack Clinton did the unthinkable and won the Balance of Power Scaffold match. That was the same time that in a Lucifer's Last Stand match, Chris Angel defeated Vincent Matthews. Now, with the Balance of Power Scaffold match being for the breifcase containing a future Texas Heavyweight Championship match, I was extatic. I literally could not believe my eyes when I went into that match. I put my body on the line, and it cost me. It helped that match, Jack Clinton, to get the breifcase. Now, I admired him for being able to beat the top superstars, but think for another second. He cashed in the breifcase at 4 Up and lost. Now, I did lose 4 Up, which James Jackson won. But, its all a chain reaction. You see, Jack, you won the Balance of Power Scaffold match, while Angel unified the Texas Heavyweight Title with the Bad Blood Title. Then, the Bad Blood Title is put up for grabs in the 4 Up matches. In the mean time, other men fought for contendership of the Bad Blood title. Now, the Balance of Power scaffold match was easier than 4 Up, and the Buffet Invitational was even easier than that, I could tell.
So, you ask, why in the world would a chain reaction like that happen? Angel did the impossible, and he went from lower level champion to the highest champion. That was admirable. Clinton gets a shot at him after the Balance of Power Scaffold match. When, James Jackson, who puts his life on the line for 4 Up, doesn't get anything but a lower level Bad Blood Championship. Then, Kijar, who got the benefit of the doubt, he gets the Bad Blood title off of Jackson, who went through so much at 4 Up. But, Clinton, he wasted his opportunity, and now James Jackson, who went through seemingly over half the roster, no longer has a thing. He doesn't even get a shot at the champion. Then, Jack Clinton, who already used his well-earned shot, he gets another shot. Now, with that confusing chain of events, it puts me and Danny Palis in as wildcards.
But, like I said, Palis couldn't even beat LaFontaine. That leaves me, the savior of the broken, and the beaten. I've gotta put a stop to these chain reactions and keep fighting and fighting to get my fair chance at the Texas Heavyweight Championship. I'm doing so, to show that hard work pays off, and I don't have to take the easy route. I'm the only legit person in this match up, from my points, and no matter how hard it will be, I have to do what I have to do to win the Texas Heavyweight Championship. Plain and Simple."
