Versus Vince

The scene opens in the apartment of Versus Vince. He is shown closing the door, seeing Valerie out. The camera follows Vince as he goes to sit back down on the couch.

"Before, I said I didn't know too much about Danny Palis, and recently, I discovered something about him. Danny, ya know, I've had mentors too. In fact, my two mentors are the next Texas Tag Team Champions, the Switch Stallions. Never before have I seen an undisclosed bond between mentor and student like I did between you and yours. There's no real reason that you should have been arguing with him. Tough love, although it seems right, only works 52.3% of the time. Trust me, I looked it up. As much as you think him pushing you around helps, all he did was tell you the truth.

Yeah, you've been a failure. Jack Clinton said it, and I'll say it again. You failed when you came into this company. You failed when you lost to LaFontaine. You failed when you eased your way into this match. You failed when you thought an insult to Versus Vince would help your chances at Summer Bash. And you will fail again, when I beat you at Summer Bash. And I may not be big in size, but trust me, Danny, the impact I will make, will be bigger than anything you've ever seen. I'm gonna make you wish you never even considered joining the wrestling business, much less SNW.

But that brings me to Subject #2. Jack Clinton. I cannot believe it had to come to this. I was hoping we could go into this match together, ya know, with a bit of an alliance goin' on. Valerie will be everything but a distraction for me. Trust me, if she distracts anyone, it'll be you, Danny, or Chris. Why? Because I get to see a lot more of her after I win the match. The Texas Heavyweight Championship is my current goal, my current desire, and I'm not going to let you stand in my way. Your win at WrestleStock II was circumstantial. There is not a single person in the back who thought Jack Clinton would win that match except Jack Clinton. You are getting lost in the moment, Jack. Its not what you have that decieves you, its what you want. I'm sure that your desire for the Texas Heavyweight Title is much more than mine, but there's something that sets us apart there. You're right, I don't have as much experience as you, but I'll tell you one thing. The reason Jack Clinton isn't Texas Heavyweight Champion is because Jack Clinton is too big on the ego trip.

At least Versus Vince has a thing called self control. I know what I want, and I will get it, one way or another. Clinton, Angel knows what he's doing, otherwise he wouldn't have been the winner of the Lucifer's Last Stand match, Jack. You can't count out the current champion. But, trust me, the experience thing, that's just an advantage for me. I'm performing with you now, and in the future, when you're retired, I'll still be performing. I'll be outperforming you by that time, of course, because I'm younger. When I get to your age, I wont lack what you lack now. When I get to your age, I wont drain. When I get to your age... I'll show you, you'll see. Watch and learn, its time for me to show you what it means for me to be 18. Its not just a low number in comparison. Its a number that proves my worth to everyone. You see, if I do what I do now, then me being at my age, just shows everyone how great I really am. Now, sorry, I don't mean to ego trip like you, but sometimes I have to. Summer Bash, Clinton, I no longer want to be friends. When I'm done with Palis, I'm comin' for ya. You better be ready, too, 'cause I will bring down a whole world of hurt."
