We open up outside in the blazing heat of Fresno, Ca. Reaper and Cyanide are outside of a local mall where they will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. For now though, they are waiting outside and talking amongst themselves beforehand. They see the camera coming so they decide to address it.
Reaper: Its another hot one here in the Central Valley, but its not nearly as hot as its going to be at Summer Bash this weekend. Looking at our match though, we couldn't help but think that SNW went a little overboard with it.. but whatever. We've proven that we're the best time and time again so throw at us what you want. Its funny though, because you'd think with a War Games match on the card that THAT would be enough. But no, a six team Ultimate X match for the SNW Texas Tag Championship was a must so here we are. Five other teams though, I mean really? You might as well throw all of this into a Cell or even a Chamber... add thumbtacks and barbed wire... what the hell was holding you guys back on that? You know what though, we're the best team going on in the industry today so we say give a manical match of mayhem and we shall dominate the competition just like we always do.
Cyanide: Thats right. We may only be cousins, but soimetimes it feels like me and Reaper are twins. We both have the same goals... we both work equally as hard to attain those goals.. and when we go out to that ring, we put everything we have into each and every match to prove that we are what we say we are. So it doesn't matter to us if SNW had given us one team... five teams... or hell even fifty teams to face at the Bash. When it comes down to it, we are willing to do whatever it takes to walk in with the belts and walk out with the belts because Death Sentence is number one in the industry today. We've been wrestling since we were children, dreaming of being on top of the wrestling world and now that we're successful... we don't see why that should mean that we should stop trying. We still go out there and work at this like we're still trying to make it. Thats the only real way to become a superstar in this sport. Not by winning a few championships and letting yourself go, but by working like its your first tryout for a major company. We have a big challenge this weekend, but we've been scouting and working and I know that we're ready for the challenge.
Reaper: But to understand why we think that way, lets have a small look at who it is that we're actually facing in this Ultimate X match at Summer Bash. First up, theres the Alley Ratz. Yeah, I know that we've mopped the floor with these guys numerous times in the past but their new attitude may give them that extra edge that they've sorely needed for at least the last year or so. Some people will look at their actions as of late and ask them WHY?... but look at it like this. They've been on a steady decline for the last year now and nobody has really ever given them the respect that I thought they earned or obviously the respect THEY thought they deserved. You can only take that for so long before one day you just wake up and and snap. Thats just what happened with the Ratz and so now they're a team to look out for... and then again, we may just exploit every one of their weaknesses just like we've done in the past.
Cyanide: Then you have the Switch Stallions, made up of Seth Davids and the new Bad Blood Champion Kijar Donnelly. That kid showed some promise by taking out James Jackson. Its not everyday that you see Jackson get outsmarted and made to look foolish, but thats what that kid did. Makes him dangerous and smart.... even if that means he can spot a lucky moment and seize it before it gets away. That may play to that teams downfall though, if they rely on lucky breaks, because we aren't a team that makes a lot of mistakes. We work far too hard and go over too many scenarios to make stupid mistakes like that. It'd have to be an awfully bad day for us to do that... hell MAYBE if we had such a bad day that we couldn't enter the ring without tripping over the ropes... then maybe they'd have a shot against us. But thats highly unlikely to happen... such a shame for them.
Reaper: The Enforcers of Pain are another team to watch out for, because lets face it, they've been around long enough to know their way around a tag title match. These guys have held championships before... albeit with a couple of dead promotions but still they've got the experience edge over most of these teams. Sometimes when you think these guys are just about down, they surge through and go on to win a match that they should have rightfully lost. That makes them a pain in the ass, but again, we prepare for everything... so allowing a team that we've thoroughly destroyed come back and finish us off just doesn't happen. Besides, just because they've held dead championships doesn't mean that they've still got what it takes to survive this kind of match and they certainly haven't got the insides to hang in there with us. They are a quality team, but compared to Death Sentence... they're just a mediocre couple of guys and that doesn't scare anybody.
Cyanide: Y Kores is another group thats been around far longer than needed. And the sad part is, when they seem to get on a hot streak..BOOM... it falls apart before they can cash in on anything. The worst part is... they aren't even really focused on this match OR the fact that they could potentially be the tag champs. Alley Ratz pissed these chicks off and thats all they've been able to really talk about. NEWS FLASH!! The Alley Ratz have just as much IF NOT MORE to prove than you girls. Then again, the Ratz actually have held the belts before whereas you guys... not so much. Sad too, because these girls, despite having to always fight past the stereotype of being girls are very well versed in that ring and COULD... if they'd focus themselves... be THE force in wrestling today instead of just being that group that almost makes it... but fails. We'll see if they can get past the Ratz long enough to find us... but we don't expect much.
Reaper: That brings us to the finally piece to this crazy match. Xtreme Team. Despite being one of the best teams in this match with most of the experience, they've managed to have a record in SNW for holding the SNW Tag belts the SHORTEST amount of time. I mean, it would have been bad enough to have held the belts for the whole month of February as its the shortest month... but 15 days... come on guys. But then what? Vanished.... until recently that is and so here you are. Trying to claim that once short lived success here? And its like we said before, it doesn't matter what other belts you held before, because that time doesn't matter anymore. The only thing that matters is Summer Bash... the Ultimate X match for the belts that we hold... and IF you can survive long enough to take them down and win. I don't see that happening for you guys. As a matter of fact, it would take something crazy for ANY team to beat us at the Bash. Doesn't look like any of you guys have a chance this weekend... but by all means, give it your best shot.
Cyanide: As the temperature continues to get higher and higher, we continue to get better and better. Summer Bash is no exception, as you will see the greatest team in wrestling history continue to do what we do best and that is dominate all of our opponents and keep our SNW Texas Tag Team titles far into the future. So prepare yourselves kiddies, because the War Games match won't be the ony war at the Bash, hell when this match over there may not be a ring left to wrestle in for the rest of the show. But one thing you can bank on is that Death Sentence will walk out of the Bash still holding on to the belts while the rest of you will continue to dream of being as good as us... we'll see you at Summer Bash... good luck surviving the carnage.
With that, they bump fists and turn towards the doors of the mall and they walk in. Fans start to cheer for them and the door closes. The camera begins to pixelate and then finally fade to black.
