~The ladies of Y Kores were said to be absolutely ecstatic following Samu and Kotch's win of the SNW Texas Tag Team Titles at Summer Bash. Rotchester and manager Xander Nova were watching from backstage and could barely contain their excitement while Samu and Kotch made their way to the back, selling injuries received in the match. After the show, the four partied into the wee hours with other SNW roster and staff members, as well as their family and friends that were in attendance.
~According to SNW.com, Y Kores will in fact be able to defend their titles using the Freebird Rule, meaning that even though Petrina Rotchester was not in the match she will be able to defend the titles with one or the other of her team mates. However, this also means that all three women could be in a six-person Title match in the future.
~This marks Y Kores' first title win since any of it's members debuted in SNW. After some fact checking, SNW.com has also confirmed that this title win is indeed another one for the record books. Although Wench has been a Texas Tag Team Champion since the inauguration of the titles, Samu and Kotch are the first all-female team to do so in SNW. Back in NAWA, Kotch and Rotchester became the first all-female team to win non-female tag team titles in North America (based on the lineages of this continent's major wrestling organizations' tag team titles).
~Following Summer Bash, Y Kores went on a media blitz hyping their title win and upcoming SNW shows. They are currently in Alberta, Samu's home province, and will be making a few appearances in British Columbia (where Kotch and Nova call home) before returning to Texas for this weekend's show. After that, they will be going to Eastern Canada (Rotchester currently resides in Toronto, Ontario) before working their way back down to Texas. They are appearing on several local radio and television stations, and doing lots of autograph signings along the way, so check out your local listings to see if the ladies are coming to a town near you!
