the scene fades into Andy's locker-room. He is unpacking his gear and hanging his attire up as Alexander Draven barges in.
Andy: What the hell...?
Alex: I need to talk to you Andy, Now.
Andy: Can't it wait, even just a little while? I only just got here.
Alex: Not really, you mentioned last week that you wanted a chance to team up with me again, considering we keep teaming up at house shows and non-televised shows, I just wanted to clarify that, you know, as a 'are you sure you still want to do this' thing...
Andy: Well, yeah I’m certain about it, why? Are you having problems with it?
Alex: No Andy, I don't have any problem with it, but as I’m sure you already know I haven’t been in proper tag competition for a while now.
Andy: Yeah I know, can't really call your Dark Ones proper tag competition though can you...
Alex: Very funny Andy, I’ve been in more than just the Dark Ones you know...
Andy: oh, you mean the Army of The Gods? Not much of an army really, although I doubt I could have taken any of you on.
Alex: Shh, just listen, you seen the card for this week right?
Andy: Of course, we've got that 8 man Tag match.
Alex: Yeah, it’s a bit of an odd set really. I don't know if you've noticed but...
Andy: I know, it’s all of my five opponents from the Balance of Power match that's happening at Wrestlestock and your opponent for Wrestlestock.
Alex:... Do you mind not butting in?
Andy: no, not at all...
Alex: *pauses* the whole Strange bedfellows idea doesn't work so well for this match really... I don't have a problem with anyone in our team; there is only one person I would love to get my hands on again... Chris P...
Andy Sniggers to himself
Alex: What are you laughing at Andy?
Andy: well... Chris... P, whenever I hear people say that I just laugh at it.
Alex: I don't get it...
Andy: Didn't surprise me. Chris P, Crispy? I just find that funny, how his name could be so easily made fun of... Maybe they should have called him Chris P Fryes just for laughs...
Alex:... Andy, you’re a very odd person do you know that?
Andy: Yep, I do and people would be bored of me if I wasn't odd.
Alex: Whatever, so Onslaught this week, 'Strange Bedfellows' Me, You, Versus Vince and Tyler... what’s-his-name.
Andy: Guevara. Our team doesn't really have problems with each other as such, only I, Vince and Tyler have the future issue of fighting each other at the Balance of Power match. But I’m pretty certain that this week, we can all work together as a team.
Alex: It’s not our team I’m worried about, it’s our opponents...
Andy: I forgot that their all some of the biggest names in federations we've been in...
Alex: exactly, I have a feeling that the four opponents we have our going to make this match hell, especially with James Jackson's, and Jack Clinton's backgrounds.
Andy: don't forget about Matt, he's not going to be a pushover either is he?
Alex: are you kidding me? I wouldn't even know... Chris P *Andy Sniggers so Alex pauses*... Chris is my opponent at Wrestlestock so I want to hurt him some more seeing as I have the chance.
Andy: Well don't tell me that, I don't personally want to go for any of them in particular, I would rather stay as far away as possible from James Jackson, from the fact that he was against my kind of wrestling, as he was a Strong Style wrestler. Clinton, well... he's just huge for me, Margera, I don't really know I guess he's the only one I stand a chance with maybe.
Alex: You're making it sound more like a dating agency...
Andy: Why do you keep throwing little insults at me? This match isn't one I am used to taking part in; I’ve been wrestling in singles competition ever since I started wrestling with very few other match styles. Unlike you... Who's been carried in almost ever...
Alex: Carried? I was in tag team competition.
Andy: Exactly. It’s the same thing when you’re concerned. Seriously though, if I could have my way I wouldn't be involved in this 8 man tag, I reckon I’m going to end up hurt in a huge brawl between everyone. I’m not the biggest of people here.
Alex: Maybe, maybe not but you know that size isn't everything... You're proof about that.
Andy: I know, but it doesn't help that I feel intimidated by the opponents because they've all been very successful in the past. Whereas I have never really been successful.
Alex: You're not the only one Andy. But if all this goes will, sometime down the line we could be Tag Team Champions, that is one of my life goals that I have came close to winning many times...Just ask Nathaniel.
Andy: I've never really had many goals in wrestling... Always just gone with whatever was thrown at me, it’s not until very recently I’ve decided on something... This match I have at Wrestlestock will determine everything... This week also will mean a lot. After this I’m sure I’m going to be a far better wrestler.
Alex: That’s the way to think Andy, always positive... or at least try. Anyway, now that we've had a good chat, I better be on my way. I guess I’ll see you Saturday then.
Andy: Yeah, sure see you Saturday.
Alex walks out of the room, shutting the door behind him. Andy finishes unpacking his wrestling gear before sitting on the bench.
Andy: Now that he's gone... Just a few words to everyone else; James, The way you think, your whole 'not caring' angle, to be honest with you everyone else probably feels the same way. The whole Greenday comment wasn't necessary... I wouldn't even be seen at one of their concerts, I don't even like the band. You researched Scaffolds? You must have a pretty sad life to have to do that... And the answer to your question, 'what dumb person would think it’s such a bright idea to climb a scaffold and be claimed the winner' the kind of person, would be me. The whole extreme side to this match for us at Wrestlestock is my kind of match, JJ you are obviously more comfortable in the standard style wrestling match, whereas I’m the opposite...
Crispy, you got it right, I am unpredictable, but that’s just everything about me and not just my wrestling ability. I love the way I am, I’m not just unpredictable to everyone else, not even I know what I’m going to do next half the time... If Clinton has something to say also, I reckon he should come clean and just say it. Matt, I really don't know what I can say to you, all I want from you is a challenge.
Now for my Team... Alex, you know about how I feel when it comes to teaming with you, seeing as you we're here not so long ago... Tyler, thank you for the kind words, I admit I did feel hurt at the time with some of the things you said but don't worry as I’m over it, and I’m sure in the future we could be good friends. And Vince... I am hardly the best wrestler on our team, as for me and Alex; our extreme differences are what make me think that me and him make a good tag team. I have always seen myself as an underdog, as have many others, but I must say you're the first person to admit that they think I am, I'm looking forward to facing you in the Balance of Power Match but this week, I’m pretty certain that we can get along just fine.
You know, building up to Wrestlestock... Knowing I’m being part of the show means a lot to me, knowing I’m in such a big match just makes everything so much better. I want to thank SNW management for giving me this chance. And to everyone in the match on Saturday...Good Luck, it’s going to be a long, touch night for each of us.
