I was seriously hoping that the first case with Freak back in February would be the only thread in this board. However, it seems we have been left with no choice in this manner.

Earlier this year, Shaggy and I put the call out for more writers as Shaggy was soon going to be leaving SNW. He had just began to RP in THW and knew that eventually he would be leaving SNW for THW as he had pretty much accomplished everything he could in SNW and that new challenges laid ahead in THW(and I gave him my blessing to RP exclusively in THW). Versus Vince contacted Shaggy via PM, expressing his interest in becoming a writer for SNW. Shaggy took Vince under his wing, then when Shaggy left, Vince would learn under my watchful eye. Vince had showed himself to be a reliable RPer, so we had no reason to believe that he wouldn't be a reliable writer. However, we had hit a snag at Summer Bash, where Vince had well over a week and a half(if not two weeks) to have his matches written, especially given the fact that he would always write two different outcomes if he didn't know what the final result would be. However, the day before Summer Bash was to be posted(which originally was to be July 24), he had decided to ask when the Ultimate X match needed to be turned in as "he and his family had been prepping all week for his sister's graduation party." Now mind you that he had known about that for the whole week, but waited till the last minute to tell me, forcing me to scramble to find a writer instead of giving me a week to find a writer. Also, there was no show the week before Summer Bash(as we take the week before and after PPVs off), so he could've easily had it done then if he knew about his sister's graduation party. I was unable to find a writer at the last minute, and Vince wound up getting it done around Monday/Tuesday of that week, causing Summer Bash to be posted about three days after it was originally to be posted, which of course gives people less time to RP for the upcoming TV show(about a week instead of two weeks).

Without having any other writers, I had written this off as a one-time thing as Vince had apologized about the incident and didn't think this would come up again. However, this morning right before 10:30AM Central Time, I go to my PM box and find the following PM from Vince:

I hate to keep letting you down but I slacked off and I can't finish the tag team match... I actually haven't even started...

I think by now you'd fire me if I wasn't the only other writer... <_<

It's apparent that now he thinks he'll be able to take advantage of me as I currently don't have any other writers on staff. However, Matt Ward PM'd me earlier this week, expressing interest in taking part in match-writing and will start with one match come the September 4 episode of Guys Night Out(Ward, pay attention this thread so that you don't wind up in the same situation). I have also talked to Dark Sun as well as he has shown more reliability as of late, and will start him off with just one match a show.

After that initial PM, I sent the following PM back to Vince:

That's easy to post, ya know... I only have a small amount of time to post around, writing is hard, especially for me. I may be good at it, but it still takes me awhile...

Fair enough, except for the fact that it seems that the WWE Championship Game thread and the locker rooms are the only places where Vince seems to be posting like a madman as of late. However, posting in the locker rooms is a bit more understandable as it's helping to advance storylines and such. However, if he feels that it could be hindering him from writing matches, he can just as easily make a post that will end the series of RPs.

This concludes my opening statement. Anybody who wants to chime in is more than free to do so, and Vince will be allowed a rebuttal. Let's try to keep things civil here, everyone. After the statements, rebuttals, et al are made, Soul Reaper will make his decision which will be final, and I will be free to make a decision concerning the main event for Natural Selection.

I really wish this didn't have to happen, but I have my reasons for all of this. First of all, before last week ended, I was in SNW, TSW, ECW-r, TEW, and EWA... then I quit TEW (vacating my championships and throwing my undefeated streak out the window), and EWA (when I was about to return...), to make more time for SNW, and the other two feds.

As of right now, I've been trying to get out of storylines in ECW-r, so that I can quit, and on TSW, I'm kind of a pretty reliable person, I'm on the writing staff there, and I'm undefeated... the fed just started and I'm second in charge as of today. But, the fed is failing, and I figured it would end soon enough for me to focus only on SNW.

So, with all my work I've been doing weekly, especially having four characters here, plus writing two or three matches a week, I'm stacked, and all the writing work I have is put to Friday, but I also have a social life, and I try and work on that mostly on the weekends. So, I finish a match or two on friday and hope to do the rest on Saturday. But, today is my birthday party. Right now, I've managed to keep my friend's distracted with the Xbox 360 so that I can defend myself right now. I think that with school starting up, I can be relied on for one match a week, maybe two if I'm sure I have time, with Ward and Darksun helping out, we can get the shows on tip top shape.

I do understand, but heres my problem. You have over extended yourself... nobody else is responsible for that. You know, or at least you should know by now what your limitations are. Its my opinion that not only did you ignore the fact that you were over extended but also started making priorities, which if thats so, you could have at least let somebody know well BEFORE we got to this point.

Waiting until the very last possible second to drop a match doesn't flow around here, ESPECIALLY when you know that we don't have writers. Sure theres been interest, but you don't start somebody off with a last second dropped match and give them a few hours or a day to produce something good. Thats just bad business. And since I'm quite sure that you were fully aware of what your plans were going to wind up being not only this week elsewhere in the fed world, but also this weekend with your personal life, my decision would be to pull you from your title matches and probably suspend you for a bit. Unfortunately at this time we don't enough replacements as things are pretty much booked solidly for the next little bit.

Now, having said that, again this could have all been avoided had you said something say.. earlier in the week when things were getting planned out for this shows writing. Now anybody could argue that maybe they didn't know their plans for the weekend if they were asked earlier in the week, but dude, its your birthday party. Something tells me that was known about, and what bugs me is that generally when I look over the matches as they're being done, you're not only the first one to put something up... you're usually done before anybody else starts. So I'm really disappointed but I guess this sort of thing happens.

SO, my ruling is that we will be doing a little reshuffling for Natural Selection and your title match won't be happening. Not to say that you can't regain a title shot for another time, but for now its off and somebody else will be put in instead. I don't like to see things like that happen, but its my job to make the hard decisions.
