The scene opens with Versus Vince standing in a room, the walls painted a lush, dark green.
"Back in January I joined this company. I was undefeated for quite some time. A secured spot in the Balance of Power Scaffold match was mine. But, as time went on, I think I slipped down the well a bit. I was ahead of Tyler Guevara for awhile, but when he took the numbers game out and one-upped me, I had to change my thoughts. And what did I think? I thought to bring in two of the best friends, mentors, that I've ever had. If there's ever something I have regretted, it would be bringing "The Italian Stallion" Kijar Donnelly, and "The Switchblade" Seth Davids into Sports Nutz Wrestling. Sure, it made sense at the time. And did it help me? Of course it did. But, in the end, did it help them? Hell no.
I brought them in as the Versus Violation, to help me. We fought hard over and over again, until the Perfect World realized we were better. The Versus Violation had brought down the Perfect World. And, instead of letting them leave, to get back to thier lives, they decided it would be better to stay. So, the Versus Violation continued. I kept fighting, and I did what I could to keep the stable in tact. That was enough, though, was it? When Lucky came in, and his career ended so fast he only blinked twice... I swore that none of us would go through an experience like that again. So, as time went on, we started breaking down. Kijar and Seth, tag team partners and friends for as long as I can remember, couldn't even unite anymore. And, when Kijar started taking things into his own hands, there was that one memorable night.
The fans in the arena were crying. Seth, Val', and I were crying backstage. Kijar kept that smiling Italian face on, to let everyone know he was okay. But, deep down inside, he was dying. And each time that monster stapled bills to his chest, he would cry out, and ask for support. He was literally one dollar away from victory. But that wasn't enough. Robert Ravencroft found it fun to put Kijar through pain, when Kijar just wanted to make it out alive. Oh he made it out alive... But he was far from okay. So, Seth started breaking down. He lost his cool, and broke his fucking ankle! Excuse my language, but, no pun intended, we were far from Lucky. Lucky Kage was brought down, Kijar Donnelly was brought down, and Seth Davids was brought down. The only hope I had left was Blake "Tiger" Snyder.
Where's Blake now? Probably thinking of how bad he's gonna beat me. Well, Blake, I've been through a lot of tough shit lately. I've been trying to keep it all inside, but it eats at me. It kills me, and I just can't take it any longer! ALL MY FRIENDS ARE GONE! ITS MY FAULT!"
Vince begins crying, but wipes the tears away to continue talking.
"And as much as it will hurt my lovely girlfriend, Valerie, I have to keep pushing myself, fighting for what I think will do the most justice. And, right now, you've turned so far to the dark side you're getting cold. Understand? Good, 'cause I don't. Val' has done everything she can to help you, and you became a hypocrite. Blake, you turned away, and told your sister goodbye, in a sense, just like she did to you when you wanted to stay in the apartment. So, yeah, you paid for it, you gave her the life she wanted so desparetly to live. You don't realize that you did her justice by accepting the fact of having to leave. You did her justice by not arguing. You did your sister justice by walking away, emotions bottled up inside.
And you ruined all that build. You ruined every single little bit of hype you had to give your sister that better life. You came back, and unleashed all the rage you had built up for so long. And, in turn, your sister has to cry herself to sleep. Are you there to comfort her? No, I am. I'm the shoulder she can cry on. Looks like she made the right choice to kick you out after all. I stay up with her every single night as she cries. Not just about her brother turning away, but about the fact that her brother and her boyfriend, the two men who she has confined in for her entire life, will step inside the same ring, on opposite sides. She is torn between two men who have to look each other in the eyes, and battle it out and prove the better man.
For her sake, I'm going to end you Blake. I'm going to show her that she hasn't made a single mistake her in life, except the mistake of trusting you. You betrayed her, you betrayed me, you betrayed yourself. That's not enough for you, though, is it? You're going to have to do a lot better than what you did at Onslaught to stop me. I'm a gun just waiting for that trigger happy person to set me off. And the recoil... oh its bad.
So, for Valerie, I'm going to end the Tiger. I don't know Enigmah, to be honest, but from what I hear, you aren't any match for me in this mindset. I'd suggest you focus on someone else besides me when that much comes. Gory, you may be one tough son of a bitch, and I probably don't have anything against you, but if you're okay with captaining a team of such rejects, then I guess you're gonna run into a 19 year old beast. Austin, I suggest you stay as far away from me as possible. You're just as guilty in this situation as Robert Ravencroft is. Keep your distance, and stick with the chumps."
