The scene fades into a shot of Andy Lionheart’s locker-room, we see Andy stood up pacing back and forth.
Andy: Well, looks to me that the Greater Good seem to be scared of my style of wrestling, why else would you want it away from SNW? I mean, for a while now I’ve heard various comments about Hardcore style wrestling. Most of which saying “It’s not wrestling”… Now that’s a line that’s gets boring to hear. Hardcore is a style of wrestling, no matter what you here or see. Hardcore wrestling isn’t all about the weapons, or just putting yourself through tables, glass or anything. Hardcore wrestling is all about putting your body in the line, putting yourself through agony just to reach a target. I don’t always call it Hardcore Wrestling. I usually label my style as ‘Extreme Wrestling’.
There are, and always will be people who oppose ‘Alternative’ wrestling, some people just like the same old boring crap thrown out there. I don’t mind the fact that people oppose it, what I don’t like is when people decide they’re going to try to get rid of it completely. You know, I’ve had to deal with ‘anti-hardcore’ wrestlers in previous feds, in fact one federation I got kicked out of for being a Hardcore Wrestler. When that happens it doesn’t make you want to stop, it made me go further, in fact here in SNW I feel that I’m being held back for the lack of hardcore style in this place. Craig Mueller, I would willingly face Thumbtack Kevin in that Triad of Violence instead of Strickler, at least then I’d be able to wrestle to my potential!
Craig, hearing what you had to say about ridding SNW of ‘This hardcore crap’ made me laugh. As long as I am an SNW wrestler, SNW will never, ever be freed from hardcore style. I’m pretty sure that the hardcore wrestlers here in SNW know how to wrestle ‘normally’ too, if not we wouldn’t have ever made it through training, health checks and all that shit. Craig, people like you get on my nerves, I am no cancer of SNW, in fact if anything its us hardcore wrestlers are the way forward. The reason why Cody Shane would keep us here is because she knows, just like the WWE should have known, that Hardcore = Ratings. Remember when WWE bought back ECW… It lost ratings pretty quickly, but back in the day when ECW was its own thing, it was popular, it had cult followings simply because their money was tight and they couldn’t afford to get big quickly. Everyone wants to see hardcore wrestling, people want blood, people want weapons, people want to see people like us beating the holy hell out of people like you with chairs, bats, 2x4’s and putting you through a bloody hell in the ring. Mueller, I expected you to know that being an owner of SNW. Same thing needs to be put through the Greater Good’s heads.
Andy looks through his bag and pulls out a can of “Monster ‘Ripper’” Energy drink and opens it then begins drinking it.
Andy: Greater Good… I swear I’ve heard that name before I came to SNW… Anyway, you guys all seem to be with Craig on his views on Hardcore styles, and you know, Natural Selection isn’t going to be so fun for you. Crispy, about your verbal attack on Thumbtack Kevin, I can see where your coming from, and I understand why you dislike hardcore wrestling but you have to respect what the veterans of Hardcore wrestling have been through just like they would respect what you’ve been through. I’ll admit im incredibly far from being a veteran but I also don’t follow the stereotypical traits of Hardcore you stated. I don’t go digging through garbage or junk for weapons, I use what I’m given. If SNW have something around, whether it be a chair, bell or even Championship title I’ll use it. The only thing I might ever bring with me to the ring would be barbed wire. Chris, I thank you for the compliment to me, about being a better wrestler. But come Natural Selection Hardcore Blood will over come the Greater Good. No matter what you guys can throw against us we will just keep fighting and at the end of the match it will be Hardcore Blood leaving victorious and I know it!
I have yet to have a proper hardcore match, or even a brutal or overly tough, fun match to be honest. I cannot wait until the day I can have such a match. I’m still a novice of the ring, with both Hardcore and Cruiserweight style wrestling but I love them both and I only wrestle both styles because its what I love, simple as that. Chris, you, Craig and the Enforcers of pain will realise how even the Hardcore wrestlers can out wrestle normal boring style wrestlers, and out smart them. Just wait until Natural Selection because that night you will find out what its like to face The New Wave Of Extreme! I’ll see you all then.
Andy drinks the rest of his energy drink and then leaves the room after placing his empty can on the bench. The scene fades to black
