Versus Vince

The scene opens with Vince sitting on the couch in his apartment building.

"There's rarely moments I can find without Valerie at home, but since this was important, I sent her to the spa. I can't have her here when I pour our thoughts as deep as these. My team member in that of Samuel Hale is probably one of the most despicable guys as of late. I feel as though everyone hates him, but no one's gonna say it. So, Hale, watch your back, and don't cost my team the match. Still in my corner of the ring, I've been told to comment on the Deutschaland Dream. Honestly, at first I didn't think too much of the guys. Then, as time rolled on, I knew they would be so much better to me than the Sports Nutz would be. I mean, they're no Switch Stallions, but they certainly have established themselves as a unit. Recognized enough by the public to be situated in this match? Down with me.

But, I guess Gory and Enigmah think I'm too distracted. Honestly, to the both of you, I've gotta say that I'd rather this match be one and one in the end, but there's nothing I can do about that if you pull your weight, and I pull mine. All I was trying to say earlier is that I'm not going into this match to destroy the two of you, am I? No. I'm heading in to prove to everyone that Val' made the right choice when she had the chance. I have to make sure that no one begs to differ about Blake Snyder being the better choice. He was a selfish brother, in one effect, who hadn't shown his true colors until pressured. I did nothing but share my love for Valerie. It was only when Blake did what he did that I had to step it up. And, even if I was to focus on a different oponent on the other team, it certainly wouldn't be either of you.

Enigmah, I honestly don't know what to think of you because I haven't seen you wrestle, ever. I know you were here once, but times have changed now. Bigger talent pool, and maybe you can't pull your weight in the pool now. Gory, I know you do what you do because you can, but I also know what I am capable of. You have your darkness, and everything you bring from that aspect, but I'm a very stellar performer. My moves are top notch, and I've been working my ass off to get where I am. You've been at the top before, so you know what I'm talking about. My quest for the Texas Heavyweight Championship has been getting further and further away as time progresses. I don't know how much longer I will have to wait before its all over, and my opportunities have run out. I personally hope a moment like that never comes, but anythings possible in this business.

You know what it takes to be the best, so I trust you'll understand how bad I felt when Robert Ravencroft was put ahead of me. I even had a set date for my title match, which happened to be at Natural Selection. Now, I'm delayed because Robert Ravencroft gets his shot for destroying my friends. Apparently his greatness overleveled mine. So, now I'm caught in this war with my girlfriend's brother. She's conflicted, based on the things he's stated, compared to what I've said. So, whether you fit in here or not, I trust you would have done the same in my situation. Although I want to fight Blake, I have no problem facing you, or your cousing, or even Austin Virgo if need be. So, Austin, I suggest you stay on Blake's good side. Maybe then he wont let me get to you as well.

Bringing me to Austin's boytoy, Robert Ravencroft. Rob, Rob, Rob... I don't think you clearly understand Jack's visions for his Texas Heavyweight title reign, but its more than you can consume. No matter how many people you've beaten, there couldn't have been a better night for your defeat. Every streak has an end. Goldberg's winning streak, Andre the Giant's streak, Samoa Joe's streak, all of them. They had to end because there was going to be one night, or one person, that was just not the night, or the better person. In this case, there's two siding factors over you. A night such as Natural Selection, meaning Survival of the Fittest, you would never Survive. Rob, you just don't have the tools in this company. And then, of course, there is the better man. Jack Clinton is a great friend of mine, and since competing with him at WrestleStock, I know what he's capable of. And after seeing what you've done to Kijar, and Lucky, and what you drove Seth to, I don't think even that will match up to what Jack has done to Chris Angel alone. So, say what you will, and do what you do, but I hope to god I don't have to ever face you.

Not because of fear. No way in hell I would fear you. I just don't think you're ready for me, much less Jack Clinton. There's going to come the time when I face Jack Clinton, and when that time comes, I think everyone will be surprised by the outcome. But that time, will come very soon. It will come precisely after Jack Clinton defeats Robert Ravencroft. I wont throw in the towel unless I'm sure that Jack Clinton cannot continue. And, honestly, Jack Clinton will never give up. And how can he? A prize such as the Texas Heavyweight Championship is something to fight for until the very end. Now, I know its just pro wrestling, but this is life for guys like us. And life doesn't end until death, right? So, unless Jack Clinton is dead, he will be able to continue. And, Robert, the death rate is low this time of year."
