Andrew Smith had a match in Berlin tonight where he defended the German Breakthrough title against Thumbtack Jack. Jack challenged Smith to a German hardcore match for the belt, noting that Andrew had been telling one promotion he "wasn't a hardcore icon." Smith said he would acept the challenge.
In the main event, Smith and the challenger ensued on complete carnage in and around the ring. The match looked finish after Jack slammed Smith into thumbtacks that were placed in the ring. Smith was able to fight back and picked up the win following a Retribution DDT through a table.
After having his hand raised, a bloody and battered Smith raised the title in victory.
